Legal & data

Privacy, in plain English.

Life OS is a private, single-user application. Your information is used to run your workspace—not to build an audience, sell advertising or create a public profile.

1

Your data stays yours

Workspace content lives primarily in your own Google account.

2

Never sold

Life OS does not sell data or use it for advertising.

3

Revocable anytime

Google access can be removed directly from your account settings.

A private personal workspace

Life OS is operated by its owner for their own use. This policy explains what the application accesses, why it needs that access and how information is handled. Life OS is not offered as a public or multi-tenant service.

01

What Google data is accessed

With explicit consent, Life OS may access:

Google Drive

Reads and writes the owner’s files used for notes, documents, tasks, projects and related workspace records.

Google Calendar

Reads events and creates events from tasks and captured items.

Gmail

Reads message content and applies labels so incoming mail can be triaged into tasks, files and finance records.

Google Contacts

Read-only access used to enrich the people directory.

Life OS requests only the scopes required for these functions.

02

How the data is used

Google data is used only to provide Life OS features: organising the workspace, extracting tasks and events, scheduling calendar entries, triaging email and maintaining contact and finance records. It is not used for advertising and is never sold.

Relevant text may be sent to an approved third-party AI provider, including Anthropic, to classify, summarise or extract structured information. This processing is used only to generate results for the owner and is not used to train third-party models.

03

Where data is stored and retained

Workspace content is stored primarily in the owner's own Google Drive. Life OS does not maintain a separate long-term database copy of that content. Authentication tokens are retained only as needed to keep authorised connections working.

The owner can review or delete content directly in Google Drive, Calendar, Gmail and Contacts at any time.

04

Sharing and Limited Use

Google user data is not shared except where strictly necessary to operate the features described above. It is not sold and not used for advertising. Life OS complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

05

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time through Google Account → Security → Third-party access. Revoking access stops further Google data access by Life OS.
